The senate may expect to he re garded with impatience and inmg nation by the people so long as it neglects the urgent duty of providing more revenue for the govern raent. The treasury deficit for January is not as large as some of the previous ones, but larg 1 * enough, nevertheless, to ket'p the faet in mind that the supreme need ol the country is the restoration of republican rule. There is no reason why the pres e,nt session of congress should he prolonged beyond May at the far thest, and an adjournment iu April or even in March, would he still better for the republican party and for the country.

WvchtinK KHla. At the home of the bride’s parents, on Railroad avenue, on Wednesday, the 29th inst.. Miss Ada Huston and Mr. J. O. Caramack, of Indianapolis, Ind., were united in the holy bonds ol matrimony. Rev. I. P. Martin performed the ceremony in a beautiful and tm pressive manner in the presence of a number of fiiends. Immediately after the ceremony the guests were invited to the dining room where a bountiful repast was laid, and it is hardly necessary to say that it was enjoyed by all present. The presents were numerous and handsome, showing the esteem in which Miss Boston was held by her many frien Is. Mr. and Mrs. Cammack left on the evening train for Indianapolis, where they will stay for a few days, and then go to Greencastle, Ind, where they will make their future home. Mr. Gammuck is certainly to he congratulated, as his bride was one of Tazewell’s most attractive young ladies.
