The ’97 Mirage board met yesterday morning in east college. The work on tbis year’s annual is progressing nicely. At the Y. M. C. meeting this evening the officers will give their monthly report. The first entertainment in the lecture course will be held tomorrow evening. Students are invited to attend the revival services being held at Locust St. church. Services be gin at 7 p. m. and close at 8 p. in. Dr. Ridpath lectured to a fait sized audience last night in the prep. assemMy room on “Limitation as a Remedy.” The lecture was a good one and Dr. Ridpath deserved a much larger crowd. Several members of the French classes are taking a new French humorous paper, called the Figaro. The stringed orchestra will give a recital Thursday evening. Prof. Stephenson - history classes have just finished a ueek of quizes. The Big Four railroad will offer tickets at one and one third fare round trip. The rate is the same as offered last year. Prof. Smyser has excused his ten o’clock session in English for the remainder of this week. He will use the ten o'clock hour for censultation. Paul Poynter has gone to Chicago to transact business. The contestants for the primary of the DePauw-Bloomington debate are hard at work on the money
