That Apology, Notwtth*taii<ling. It is very doubtful if Wabash is alowed to play the return game at Greencastle on Nov. 18th. The faculty are dead against week day games and the athletic committee has declared against excusing the team on Monday.—CrawfordtviUe Journal. There is probably a “nigger in the woodpile” in this little item, and the nigger lias developed since De Pauw defeated Indiana university. Wabash knows her team has no earthly show against DePauw in a fair and square contest and will now use every means to keep from playing here. The Banner Times said, at the time the DePauw Weekly was making an apology to Wabash, that DePauw would eyent ually get the worst of the deal. They were warned against turning the other cheek but they were bent on doing it and it looks from the above like they would get it safely touched. The Banner Times wants to add that it won’t do to give Wabash any favors or advantage in a foot ball deal. They are up to snuff up there and the team that gets ahead of them has to get up bright and early. If DePauw gets a return game out of Wabash we shall be fooled.

From LaGrippe. How Dr. Miles’ Nervine Restored One of Kentucky’s Business Men to Health.
VTo DISEASE baa ever presented eo many I n peculiarities as LaQrlppe. No disease leaves its victims so debilitated, useless, sleepless, nerveless, as LaGrippe. Mr. D. W. Hilton, state aitentof the Mutual Life Insurance Co., of Kentucky, says: “In 1880 and '90 I had two severe attacks of LaGrippe. the last one attacking my nervous system with such severity that my life was despaired of. I had not slept for more than two montha except by the use of narcotica that stupefied me, but gave me no rest. I was only conscious of intense mental weakness, agonizing bodily pain and the fart that I was hourly growing weaker. When in thlacondltion, I commenced using Dr. Miles’ Restorative Nervine. In two days I began to improve and in one month's time I was cured, much to the surprise of all who knew of my condition. I have been in excellent health since and have recommended your remedies to many of my friends.” Louisville, Jan. 22, 18S6. I). W. UlLTOB. Dr. Wiles’ Nervine Restores Dealt]].
