Details of How the DePauw Foot ball Players Smoothed out the Hard Places with the Indiana Weaklings. The new McKeen athletic park yesterday was a gay scene as the four hundred spectators shouted themselves hoarse, most of them over DePauw’s victory. The field was new and dusty but it was a good one to fall on and none of the boys was hurt. I. U. was confident at the start but DePauw quickly took the wind out of their sails. Greencastle was eminently satisfied with the result which is told in detail by the following story of the
game.
