A union meeting of the Y. \V. C. A. aud Y. M. C. A. was lield this afternoon in Plato hall. Prof. Ayers gave a very interesting lecture last evening in the prep assembly room. Y. M. C. A. meets this evening as usual at G :30. Remember Dr. John's lecture next Friday night. Messrs. Puett and Lockndge returned from Rockville. Rev. Hillison led chapel today. Mr. Pugh returned from Terre Haute yesterday where he has hern visiting home folk. Norman Jones left yesterday for Kansas where he has accepted a professorship in English in a college at Wichita. Messrs. Culp, Cannon, Davis and LaHines,and Misses Renn, Peyton, Neal and Carter took supper at Mt. Meridian last evening. Geo. Dunn, ’95, who was on his way to resume his studies in the Indiana law school visited Phi Gam brothers and friends yester-

day.

Mr. Darby, who has been visiting his parents at Otterbein, returned today. Miss Grace Carter, ’95, ('lay City, is visiting Theta sisters and friends. Ernest Welch, formerly of ’95, is visiting D. K, E. brothers and friends. The series of revival meetings will begin this evening at 7 :30 in Meharry hall. Al! are invited. In the practice game yesterday the second eleven scored twice against the (irst eleven. Our team seems to he in good condition after such a hard game with the Missouri tigers. Most of the St. Louis papers had the picture of our loot hall team. One St. Louis paper had the picture of Captain Sandy. Captain Sandy said he hoped that the next time we bought St, Louis papers it would he for something more besides ttieir pictures.
