THOUGHT SHE SAW HIM.
Mrs. Jessie Wilson Caught a Glimpse of
Thomas WHmhi this Morning.
Mrs. Jessie Wilson, the English lady who whs deserted b}' her bus band Thonms Wilson, thought site saw him this morning. She was looking out of a window in \V. F. Kerr’s residence where she is stopping temporarily and is positive she saw her husband pass along Franklin street. Heeaine from the east, jiassing in front of the Bannek Times otlice, going to the west. She pointed him out to Mrs. Kerr and the ladies both saw the fellow. Word was immediately sent to Mr. Kerr and he in turn notified the police but no one seems to be able to say they saw a man of that description. Diligent search was made for him as far as the north depot but no trace was found. The fellow was dressed as lie was described by Mrs. Wilson in her story of their arrival in the city. Wilson had on a dark coat and
light pants.
There is a large family of Wilsons living west of the city near Cardonia and since the arrival of Mr. and Mrs. Wilson in Greeneastle it is said that a Thomas Wilson aged about twenty-three years, left that neighborhood about five years ago, since which time he lias been missing. This would make his present age about twenty.-nine. It

In a paper read before the Vir ginia Medical Association, Dr. limiter McGuire, a celebrated surgeon of that State, said that in all the operations he had performed for appendicitis lie had never seen a single grape, tomato or cherry seed, and he added that he was glad to make the statement, since it might tend to allay the fears of the public as to the supposed dangers arising from eating these fruits. As the grape season is now at hand. Dr. McGuire’s nssurance that grape seeds are not the cause of appendicitis is timely, and the con sumption of this wholesome and delicious fruit will doubtless be in creased in consequence of it.
