He has under his charge all the territory west of the Mississippi. Mr. Cook is a good business man and personally popular, and was well liked here. Mrs. Sarah Nutt and sister, Miss Peek, were out riding yesterday afternoon and were going south on Bloomington street. Their horse became frightened at some object and ran away. Botli the ladies were thrown out of tile buggy but were not seriously injured. A wheel came off the buggy causing the horse to frighten. Misses Emma Jones, Ida Black, Belle Ragan. Rose Williams, Laura Ammerman, Augusta McCoy, Ella and Etta Adams organized under the shadow of Bunker Hill monument the Boston Club, of Greencastle, on July 12. The first meeting was held last night at the home of Miss McCoy. The object of the club is to study Boston, its literary
