C. Donnohue, returned today to Martinsville. The rain fall of the past few days has been entirely absorbed by the earth, which was never so dry before at this season. Charles Douglass died of pneumonia at his home near Mt. Meridian Monday. He was an unmarried man aged 211 years. Jesse Bugg, assessor of Monroe township, on Monday suffered a stroke of paralysis. This is his third attack and he is critically ill. J. V.Aj’er, secretary of the Bra zil Brick and Pipe Co., was here yesterday figuring on the Greeneustle Manutaeturing company’s new building. Mrs. J. Moon, of Clayton, is vis iting her daughter, Mrs. James McClure. Miss Addle Hooster, of Indianapolis, is also visiting Mr. and Mrs. McClure.
