5° the latest blocks in spring hats is indeed a beautiful sight. There is a trade in Greencastle that de mauds high grade furnishings, and the Model caters to that trade with a consistency that enables the store to place such wares before discriminating buyers with great success. Their superiority in style and quality is unquestioned, and a look through the mammoth store convinces one that the above statements are borne out by the facts. You can depend on the latest and best at the Model. Among the most prominent of the spring novelties to be seen is a full stock of the celebrated Guyer and ilex hats, beautiful blocks and very flexible.

down on the men and found them in the woods north of the factory of the Monarch Sewer Pipe Co. The officers produced their revolver* and ordered the party to throw up their hands, which, it is needless to say, the party did. There were only three in the party at the time, and it is believed two got away, as there was supposed to be five in the gang. Detective Furlong started in search of the other two, and learned that one of them left town this tiioriiing, walking west on the Vandalia an'l carrying two bundles under his arm, presumed to he part of the stolen
property.
While Louderback held the revolver in position Wilson searched the party, two of whom were colored and one white. On one of the colored men he found a num tier of the stolen knives, razors and revolvers, but nothing was found on the other two The three were locked up in jail, and the authorities at Greencastle telephoned. Marshal Starr came down and took the men
to that place this afternoon.
The colored men claimed to be jockeys, while the white man is a painter | by trade. The colored men gave the I names of Win. Lewis and James Jones, | and the white man as Win. Wesley.
