The poultry association of Putnam county will hold their second iinniiiil exhibition 111 Greencastle on January 1 to 5, IMbu, inclusive. Their premium list has been issued from the Mannnkk Times presses, and Win. A. Crater, president, and J. I). Torr, secretary, announce the following introdaction: The Putnam County Poultry association desires to announce to its friends and the public generally its second annual exhibition to be held in Greencastle, Ind.. the lirst week in January, 1 ^9'>. The flattering success of our show last year and desire to build up in our county this important industry lias warranted us in making this exhibit. We invite vou to look over our list of premiums, which are valuable, and bring vour (owls and compete for these prizes. A beautiful silk ribbon with name of association printed on it will he given, up to the tourth score in addition to premium. We have secured the services of a competent judge, and if for no other reason the score card will well repay your tumble to show. Thanking our patrons and the business men of Greencastle for their hearty support heretofore, we again cordially invite you to assist us to make this show a perfect success. The following rules and regulations will govern the exhibition: 1. The premiums of this association are open to the competition of the world. All entries must be made on entry blanks furnished by the secretary free. 2. A fee of live cents will be charged on all single specimens and 2:> cents on all breeding

Do not let the silk become quite dry before ironing; then use a moderately hot iron, as a very hot one will scorch the silk.

Stir again, pour into a baking pan and bako a few minutes until the custard is set. If liked, a littlo grated nutmeg may be added just before it is put in tho oven. This is a nice dessert and possesses the advantage of being so qniokly prepared that it may bo classed among the emergency desserts.
