The Bannkh Timks man visited Mr. James at his office this afternoon and asked him concerning the rumor. He said he had visited Brazil yesterday at the call of some of his friends there and the matter was discussed, but that he bad not said he would contest the election nor would he eon test the same. "I am ^itisiied,” said Mr. James, “and therejwill be no contest.”
