Miss Nancy Gilmore was the victim of a rather novel accident yesterday. She was stretching a clothes line, and in so doing the line broke causing her to fall vio lently to the ground, breaking her right arm just above the wrist. Ur. Latnmers was called and gave the necessary surgical attention. Matson & Giles have brought suit for Will T. Keefer, the former 1$. A B. express messenger, for $20,000 damages for injuries received in the last White river

Henry E. Remck, of Kansas City, arrived at noon today. He is a brother ot Mrs. G. T. Allen, whose death is mentioned in this issue, Florence Haldock fell down a flight of cellar stairs this morning and received some painful but not serious injuries about the head. A. R. Gray and James Holiick are at home from Gosport, where they have been attending the soldiers’ reunion. Mrs. H. W. Tingley and son Joe, of St. Louis, are visiting Mrs. Tingley on College avenue. Dr. Evans left at noon for Lafayette.
