R. were carried out. The old cemetery was likewise visited. Never did Forest Hill, Greencastle’s beautiful home of the dead appear to better advantage. Crowds of people, driving and walking, thronged the grounds and the graves were literally covered with tloral emblems. The day was a success.

Company I made an excellent impression. The business men deserve credit for the unaminity with which they closed their houses. Superintendent Daggy has placed the grounds in excellent condition and he deserves great credit for handling the crowds. , A feature of the parade was the part of Capt. J. E. M. O’Hair. He marched in the procession from the G. A. R. hall to both cemeteries and back. His age being 90 years makes his effort a remarkable one.
