Through a misunderstanding the rehearsal of the Queen Esther troupe was called for last night in yesterday’s paper, when it should have been tonight in the Grand Army hall. The singers therefore are urged to be present this evening

At midnight lust night the jam at the hotels in Indianapolis was simply' immense. A room could not be bad for any kind of money and cots were strung through the hotel hulls and parlors. The Dennison house was packed all day and night. This is a republican year. Some miscreant last night took an ax and chopped seven spokes from one wheel and one spoke from another wheel of Albert Browning's oad wagon. This is a petty piece of spite work wrecked by some one with a grudge against Albert who now has his eye open for the evil

doer.

Isam Taylor lias been elected the oflicial delegate to represent the Indiana university chapter of Phi Delta Theta at the coming national convention to be held in Indianap olis next month. This is no ordinary honor in fraternity circles, as the chapter here is the oldest of that organization, and Phi Delta Theta ranks second of the Greek fraternities in the west. Almost all the members here expec t to attend a portion of the session of the convention. — Bloomington Tele-
