SiuiH 1-iku a Utz of Trouble. In the mayor’s court this morning the Lit/ and Sims family troubles were adjusted. It seems from the evidence given in that there lias been a jar, a large-sized jar, between the families. Several affidavits and charges were found necessary to get the difficulties adjusted but it was finally accomplished by the court officers. The legal swear ing showed that Joe Sims struck Ben Litz in the eye with a stone, and Litz's eye showed in court that something had hit him. Sims was thereupon lined one cent and costs amounting to $10.51 on a charge of assault and battery and was given an additional sentence on top of that often days. The parties had been living in the same house in north Greencastle but on the 16th the family jar jarred on their nerves to such an extent that a division was necessary and a separation occurred. Mrs. Sims plead guilty to an assaut on Mrs. Litz and to even matters up Mr. Litz plead guilty to an assault on Mr. Sims. Mrs.Sims and Mr. Litz were fined $10 and costs, amounting in a total of $21 each. Litz settled his tine but Sims and wife went to the hastile. Mrs. Litz had no charge against her. Thus endeth the Litz Sims
