Mr. Benson have been productive of much good, and our people will always grant him large audiences upon his visits. Liberal applause was accorded the speaker at the close of last evening's effort. Rev. J. E. Newhouse has traded and sold his fruit and dairy farm near the city of Greencastle to 11. M. Olibbs, of I’rbaua, 111., for ten thousand dollars, including all the One Jersey, hogs, horses, vehicles, farming utensils, etc. In part pay he gets the Gibbs home in Urbana, which is now for sale, as he expects to remain in Greencastle for educational purposes. Mr. Gibbs has a family of six, all of whom are worthy members of the Missionary Baptist church. He is a young and energetic man and capable of mak ing this farm pay. He will be a valuable addition to the Baptist church and the business energies of the community. James Stone will on Monday take a position in the postottice under W. G. Neff. He will have charge of the out going mail department, Charlie Eads and Frank Hays will remain with the new management
for a while.
