Beware of Spectacle Men Look out for two pedlers or opticians as they call themselves, who claim to be stopping at the Burt House and also claim to represent Mr. and Mrs. Lingerfield and Miss Sweitzer as they allude to advertisements in papers. They are frauds and we wish to denounce them. Understand we employ no one to call at your house, as we transact all business in our apartments at the Burt House, therefore, any one calling at your house claiming to be an opitician is simply a peddler that’s all. As it is evident that any one who knows very much about eyes does not need to peddle his knowledge from house to house.
