The New York Store—A Mod el Dry Goods House —We this week present our readers with another mammoth advertisement from the well known and popular Dry Goods House of Root Co., 90 Columbia Street, Fort Wayne, which we "request them to peruse, carefuHy. The “New York St or •" was established in 1860, on the principle of fair dealing and equal justice to all, and with “one price for cash” as its motto. Their •tock is always large and comprises an assortment not usually found elsewhere. Their salesroom Is about 130 feet deep, which will give our renders some idea of the magnitude of the business they do. The immense amount of goods they sell, together with the ndvan, tages of having an Eastern buyer constantly in New York, Is the secret of their success and the exceedingly low prices they sell at. We have never visited the New York Store but what we felt it had been good for us to be there.
