The friends of Agriculture, and all who Lei an interest in the re-organiza-tion of the Adams county Agricultural .•oci-ty, and the holding of an annual County Fair, are requested to meet at the Court House in Decatur, Saturday, March 2Th, 1366, for the purpose of .fleeting an organization. Horsi; Stolen —On Tmtrsday night last week, Mr. Joel Roe, who lives on the plank road about three miles from town, had r. fine black horse stolen from ’his stable. On Friday the horse was ■taken up by Mr. Dutcher of Monmouth. Il is supposed the thief either boirowed ' the animal for the occasion or became frightened and abandoned the horse ‘through fear of detection. dIoUSB Burned—Oa Thursd.y of ■hsi week, the residence of Mr. John Jud I, of Preble township, caught fire and was consumed, with nearly its entire conI tents. The fire is supposed to have originated in consequence of a defect in the'connection between the stove-pipe and chimney, and though it broke out •bout twelve M , was not discovered by I lie family until notified by die alarm in the neighborhood. Nothing was saved but some bedding and a couple of trunks ime of which contained about §3OO in greenbacks. The loss is about $8 )0. upon which was an insurance in the Banner Co , I orl Wayne.
