A large body of rebel cavalry were seen passing to Aldie. Cannonading was heard and •hells seen exploding in that direction. It is supposed Bayard's and Siu rt.s Cavulry were engaged, as S uart passed •.hreugh the Gip, the d iv previous, with several thousand cavalry and four pieces of artillery, and encamped nt Union, snd yetterdav paised down ihe valley.
