The wife of Uncle John French, living just across the county line in Wells county, died last Thursday night. The funeral ceremonies were held Sunday. Jimmy Wilson still remains quite sick, and doubt exists as to his recovery. He is one of Decatur’s old boys, and is cherished by many friends here. The firm of Flanders & Mills will succeed Jacob Yager & Son in the grocery business. The tail end of the firm is Fred C. Mills, one of the nicest goung men in town. They invoice and take charge next Wednesday. Twin boys were born to Mr. and Mrs. OE. Neptune Tuesday. One of them lived but a short time, and doubt exists as to the long life of the other.
