Wayne : are in northern Michigan this week. Mr. Waring has purchased a beautiful island on Little Manistique lake, where he will build a summer home. Mr Weatherhogg has prepared the plans and this trip is to start the work on the new cottage where Mr. Waring will this summer, as usual, spend the hot weeks of August. A team of three horses, hitched to a disc harrow ran away Monday afternoon at the farm of Marion French near Linn Grove, and Harry French, who was driving them, narrowly escaped terrible injury. When the , horses bolted he was thrown from his seat but managed to hold to the lines. He was dragged in front of the sharp discs and finally was forced to let go after being dragged a long distance. He managed to sieze a lever on the machine, however, and throw himself out of the path of the knives. He might have lost is life had he been caught under the macine.
