Dougherty pleaded guilty to the charge as stated, and drew fl v , dollars and costa, with the judgment reading that he should work it out on the streets. The next up w , 8 Thomas Claxton, who pleaded guilty to being drunk and drew a "fiver" and cotts, with the aame judgment ** to working the streets In his case This makes a total of six men who will work on the streets and it may be that more will be added from time to time, in order to keep up the force of workmen. It Is thought by the best authorities that if the judgment embodies the sentence to work the streets that it will prove legal ,n every way. GUY STOCK COMPANY. The Guy Stock company band made its Initial appearance on the streets here today, where they gave a band concert at which there were a good many present. The band rendered several new popular pieces and gave a eery creditable performance Tonight the company will give as their opening bill the drama. “A Man ot Honor," a play known from coast to coast.
