E. Opliger. Mrs. Homer Krick returned yesterday to Fort Wayne after a visit with her mother. Mrs. David Liby, at Preble.

' Thurman Gootscbalk, former representative from this county, now living at Ottawa, Ohio, was here for a few hours today. He is just recovering from a nine weeks’ illness with typhoid fever. His town recently landed a 600-ton sugar plant, which is now being constructed. , I Will Parent has received word from ! his wife, stating that she reached her I father's home in Gransville. Mo., in 1 safety, and is enjoying her visit very 1 much. The trip made from West Plains, Mo., by stage coach covered a distance of fifty miles, which was very tiresome. It is the first time in years that she has seen her father and the | visit is one of great rejoicing.
