We, the undersigned, each and all of whom are resident freeholders and t voters of Preble township, Adams , county, Indiana, respectfully petition [• your honorable body and ask that you 1 construct arid complete a free macad- , amlzed stone road in said township of , Preble, County and State aforesaid, I over on and- upon the public highway | situated on the following route, towit: < ’ V Commencing at a point at the north- , west corner of the northeast quarter of section 10, township 28, north of range -13 east, thence running due west to the northwest cdrner of the , northeast Quarter of section 9, township and range aforesaid; thence run--1 niiig due north on the hUf section [ line dividing the east half from the west half of section four in township . 28, north of range 13 east, to the I north boundary line of said Preble , township and thete to terminate., That the first mile of paid proposed ' highway, running west from said starting point, is already partially Improved, having been graveled; and they ask that said improvement be taken into consideration and the , proper allowance be made, and this , road constructed be constructed over said gravel by giving tne same the : necessary top dressing, and repairs aa may be necessary to put the same in as good condition as if built new.
