We, the undersigned, each and all of whom are resident freeholders and voters of Preble township, Adams county, Indiana, respectfully petition your honorable body and ask that you construct and complete a free macadamized stone road in sald township of Preble, County and State aforeSald, over-on and upon th© public highway Situated on the following route, toCommencing at a point at the northwest corner-of the northeast quarter of section 10, township 28, north, of tang* 13 east, thenc© running due w*st to th* northwest corner of the nbrtneast opurter of section 9, townchip and rang© aforesaid; thence running du© north on the half section line dividing the east half from th* wes);. halt of section four in township -28, north (if range 13 east, to the north boundary. line of said Preble township and there, to terminate. That the first mil* of Mid proposed highway, running w*st from said Starting point, Is already partially improved, having been graveled; and they ask that said improvement b* taken nto consideration and the I proper allowance be made, and this r*ad constructed be constructed over said gravel by giving th© same the necessary top dressing, and repairs as may be necessary to put the same in as good condition as if built new, Yow petitioners aver and say that the improvement prayed for Is less than three miles in length and connects at the east end thereof with a : free gravel road in said township and at the north end thereof with the township line on the north boundary of Preble township, and that a United States Rural Mail Route passes over the highway sought herein to be improved.
