Teeple of this Place Were Summoned B’ 1 i Relatives here were summoned yes--1 terday to the bedside of Mr. John i E Teeple, a resident of St. Marys, township, and a pioneer of this county, who early this morning suffered a stroke of paralysis. He is seventyeight years old and his condition is reported very serious, with hopes for recovery very slight He has not been in very good health for some time, and this affiicteion, to one of his age, renders hopes tor recovery Very improbable. Mr. Teeple is one of the oldest residents of the county, and is well known especially east of the city. He is the father of Judson W. Teeple and Mrs. James Gay of this city, also of Mrs. J. E. Stoops, Mrs. J. L. Moser, William H. Teeple and Benjamin Teeple. He lives about two miles east of town. While his many acquaintances hope for better news, they are not in the least hopeful. J. W. Teple arrived in town yesterday afternon reporting the condition of his father very serious indeed. He says that early this morning his father arose and suffered a slight stroke of paralysis, falling to the floor. The fall broke his right hip, making his recovery almost impossible at his age.
