Doctors could not help her. “I had kidney trouble for years,” writes Airs. Raymond Conner of Shelton, iWagh., "and the doctors could not hel’fi me. I tried Foley’s Kidney Cure, and the very first dose gave me relief and lam now cured. I cannot say too much for Foley’s. Kindey Cure.” Holthouse Drug Co. s A good joke is told upon six sisters who reside in Whitley county. The six of them were weighed in a store recently and their combined weight was over 1,100 pounds. A German lady sitting near remarked with perfect sincerity that "if that were pork, now, it would be worth something.” Feet swollen to immense size. “I had kidney trouble so bad,” says J. Cox of Valley View, Ky., ‘‘that I could not work, my feet were swollen to immense size and I was confined to my bed and physicians were unable to give me any relief. My doctor finally prescribed Foley’s Kidney Cure which made a well man of me.” Holthouse Drug Co. s A miniature train and railway of some seven hundred feet will nodoubt be a very novel and attractive feature of The Great Northern Ind., Fair at Decatur. This outfit is now on the ground and the track put down. It promises to be more pleasing for young and even for old than Merry-Go-Rounds or similar amusements. Notice to Contractors. We reserve the right to reject any and all bids. Henry Schulte, Wm. Linn and Crist Boknecht, Bldg. Com. “Supposing” said the teacher who was trying to get the class to understand the law of gravity, “that someone should tell you that the earth doesn’t turn over and over on its axis, because if it did we would fall off when we were on the under side, what reply would you make? Well, Georgie, I see your hand is nn Wfiat would you tell him?” "I’d tell him he had bats in his belfry.” His life saved by Chamberlain’s Colic, Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy. "B. L. Byer, a well known cooper of this town, says be believes Chamberlain’s Colic, Cholera Remedy saved his life last summer. He had been sick with what the doctors call bilious dysentary, and could get nothing to ■lo him any good until he tried this rem°dy. It gave lyin immediate relief,” says B. T. Little, merchant, Hancock, Md. For Sale by Holthouse Drug Co. s An old maid lived in our town, so I have heard it said, who if you call a dress a gown, would blush like poppies red. Her mind was neither frail or weak her modesty was rare, of autumn trees she’d never speak because their limbs were bare. When night its sable shadows threw, she’d tumble in a swoon if curtain did not hide from view the man up in the moon. She never sang a sacred song a very modest whim: To think of one she thought was wrong because it was a hymn. A plumber caused her death one day so the story goes by asking her in a careless way to let him see her hose. Notice —We, the undersigned, do hereby agree to refund the money on two 25 cent bottles or boxes of Baxter’s Mandrake Bitters, if it fails to cure constipation, billiousness, siek-head-ache, jaundice, loss of appetite, sour stomach, dyspepsia, liver complaint, or any of the diseases for which it is recommended. Fortunately for parents of large families there were very few changes made in text books this year, and a father can start a half dozen children into school without putting a chattel mortgage on the cook stove. About every year the prominent educators discover that the text books used the year before are clear out of date on the binominal therein or that the backs of the geographies don’t match with the wall paper, and that book is thrown out. The parent doesn’t know why it is done, but he knows he has to pay for it. What the average parent desires is that the school board get a real goo I line of text books and stick to them until he can get enough money ahead to afford a change. Cancer cured by Blood Balm.
