Green, Woodbury, N.J. ts Mark E. Swan has written some awfully clever plays including "Brown’s in Town,” “Whose Baby are You?” and the “Princess of Patches," but his best effort, acknowledged so by himself, press and public is “A Runaway Match” which will be seen at the opera house (tonight) Thurs dav. Sept. 11, for one performance only “A Runaway Match" contains more actual merit than anything else turned out by him and one of the commendable features is the manner in which he has handled all of the characters in this play and the lines he has given them to speak. Every character is natural and not overdrawn, the scenes are all well laid, and the ludicioushappenings are all of deep comedy plot. The company is a carefully selected one, made up of the very best metropolitan talent, the scenic effects, something not carried by the average company, are a pleasing acquisition.
