Stumps, logs, and all oilier rtibbi>h. of whatever nature it may lie. All stumps must be blasted or grubbed out, either in the drains or on t he grade. The rightofway shall be forty 40 feet in width. If at any time during the construction of the road or grade, on or before the final acceptance of'he same, tbe grade should settle, tlie contractor shall fill ali depressions caused by the settling thereof and restore the same to the grade Indicated on the profile The grade shall be of the single track system to he of a uniform width of twenty-four 24 feet from shoulder to shoulder, with a slope of four 4 inches fi om center to either side.
