Among the most expressive bits omodern slang occurs the word “knocker.” Not in a long while has the department of American slang been enriched with a stronger word. To “knock” a person, as everyone knows, is to hit him a rap, figuratively speaking, from behind,. The “knocker” is two faced; he is like Jnkyl and Mr. Hyde. The Dr. Jekyl is your friend, the Mr. Hyde is your enemy. Both are rolled into one individual smooth, oily-tongued, polite and friendly to you, a spitter of lies and harmful insinuations about you to others. In every sense he is a creation of Belizebub. Beware of the “knocker,” and don’t be one, no matter how great the provocation. Don't Be Afraid. So many people are afraid to use medicines that are put up ready for use, why this should lie we are unable to say. Dr. Marshall’s Lung Syrup is a cough medicine that has been sold for twenty rears, thousands of people have usea it and there is is not the least danger in using it, as this medicine is prepared from the best roots anil herbs known to medical , science by competent persons, this medicine ia guaranteed to satisfy in all cases of coughs, colds and throat and lung trouble.
