From station ls7-vo to station 200 there shall be one string of twelve (12) inch tile on the west side of the grade, Said tile are to be first-class tile in all respects. and are to be laid to the grade as run by the engineer. The tile shall be placed in and inspected before filling up of the trench, and the side drain over this part of the tiling needuuly be twelve (12) inches in depth. At such points along the line of the tile, the bottom ot the tile may not be solid enough to lay the tile thereon, the contractor shall tamp the earth thoroughly or place plauk therein so as to preserve the grade thereof.
