It 7 The town of Vanßuren, as a result of its steady growth, has decided to sell its fire engine and establish instead a system of water works. The money secured for the engine will be used to purchase hose and water for fire purposes will be secured from the town well. A novel scheme is to be tried to secure sufficient pressure in case of fire. Natural gas is to be turned on and in this way a head secured which will throw water over the highest building in the town. It is said that plan has been tried and found to be a success.
