Barney Kalveriskey has been quite sick for several days. Chris Meyers has accepted a position in People’s tailoring establishment at Dunkirk. A crowd of boys skated to Williamsport last Thursday and took dinner with friends, returning during the afternoon. It is reported that hundreds will follow in a few days, many of them coming to the gas belt. The cause of their leaving the east is the decision of the syndicate not to open the Bridgeton factories this winter.
