Jesse, son of Peter J. Bryan, of Jefferson township, fell from the hay mow, a distance of twenty feet, on to the barn floor, last Sunday, fracturing one arm and dislocating a wrist and knocking out two of his front teeth. He laid on the barn floor some time after the fall before being discovered by his parents. When found he was still unconscious and was thought to be dead. Had it not been for some hay on the floor the fall would have undoubtedly killed him instantly. It was a narrow escape, but he is getting along nicely and will recover.
