Rov Bottenburg was at Huntington last Friday on business. Mrs. Calvin Miller and children spent Sunday with friends at Marion. There has been one conviction in Kosciusko county this season, for violation of the law requiring the Canada thistle to be exterminated, root and branch. Frank Mitchell of Scott township, was the offender, and it was proved that he had personal knowledge that the thistles weregrowing on his place, and had refused to cut them down. He was fined $17.90, and there will be other prosecutions.
