Myrtle Billman sued W. .1. Bieber, a Van Wert saloonist. for S3OO damages for selling her husband liquor after he had been forbidden to do so, and was awarded $lB2 by a jury in a justice court. The Indiana school books will be furnished next year bv five different houses, as follows: Indiana School Book Co.. D. C. Heath & Co.. Eaton & Co., Silver, Burdette & Co., and Glen A Co. It will complicate settlements considerably. The glass which is to be written on is first moistened with vinegar and the writing or drawing made w ith the point.
