When you take vacation the most I necessary article to have with you t (after your pocket book) is a bottle of Foley's Colic Cure. It is an absolute j prevention or cure of all derangments jof the bowls caused by change of water. You are likely to need it. Holthouse & Callow. j There are few people who know the reason why red. white, and blue were selected as the colors of are national flag. It was because of their signi- ; ficance. Red stands for sacrifice, white for purity and blue for loyalty, all of which are characteristics of the true American citizen. A word to physicians. Do you know that many broad minded physicians are using Foly's Honey and Tar Cough Syrup in their pratice. They have found no remedy that gave satisfactory results for all throat and lung complaints as this great cough medicine. Holthouse & Callow, j The present indications are that this year's wheat crop will be the greatest this country ever produced. From figures obtained by some of the big Chicago firms, based’ on reports from different sections of the country, the coming wheat crop will yield more than 650,000,000 bushels, which is almost double the yield of 1897. Mr. P. Ketchman of Pike City, Cal., says: ‘’During my brother's late sickness from sciatic rhematism, Chamberlain’s Pain Balm was the only remedy that gave him any relief.” Many othesr have testified to the prompt relief from pain which this liniment affords. The binding twine question is getting to be a serious one in Indiana. Binder men and farmers find that there is hardly any twine to be had and that (he price has come up from 6 cts a pound last year to 12 cts at present, with indications of going to 15 cts before July 1. This great problem is how to get it and not the cost. Indications are that much Indiana wheat will have to Im? bound by hand this year. The crop is heavier than last year and will require probably more twine. Suffered 27 years with kidney disease. Mr. G. A. Stillson, a merchant of Tampico, 111., writes: “Foley’s Kidney Cure is meeting with wonderful success. It has cured some cases here that physicians pronounced incurable. I myself am able to testify to its merits. My face is a living picture of health, and Foley's KidneyCure made it such. I had suffered twenty-seven years with the disease, and to-day I feel ten years younger than I did one year ago. I can obtain some wonderful certificates of its medical qualities. He asked her if he might kiss her Dewey lips, and she replied that he was as strong as Sampson and she but a weak girl without the power to successfully resist him, and then the Schley voung thing assumed a defenseless attitude, and, by 'Evens, the nautical cuss took advantage of her helplessness and kissed her once for every star on the Union Jack. To be successful one must look ahead and plan ahead so that when a favorable opportunity presents itself he is ready to take advantage of it A little forethought will also save much expense and valuable time. A prudent and care ful man will keep a bottle of Chamberlain's Colic, Cholera and Diarrhoea remedy in the house, the shiftless fellow will wait until necessity compels it and then ruin his best horse going after the doctor and have a bigdoctor bill to pay besides; one pays out 25c, the other is out a hundred dollars and then wonders why his neighbor is is getting richer while he is getting poorer. Yellow Jaundice Cured. Suffering humanity should be supplied with every means possible for its relief. It is with pleasure we publish the following: "This is to certify that I was a sufferer from Yellow Jaundice for over six months, and was treated by some of the best physicians in our city and all to no avail. Dr. Bell, our druggist, reccommended Electric Bitters; and after taking two bottles, I was entirely cured. I now take great pleasure in reccommending them to any person suffering from this terrible malady. I am gratefully yours, M. A.Hogarty, Lexington, Ky.” Sold by Page Blackburn druggist. After a bill of goods has been sold to a farmer and his wife you oftimes hear the merchent or his smiling clerk say to the husband, "Here, have a cigar,” whilst the good wife who helped earn the money that paid for the merchandise, stands by and is not asked to accept a treat. One could not blame that woman very much if she absolutely cut that store off the list of those with whom she expected to trade in the future. If one was worthy of a treat so was the other and the neglect could be constructed as nothing else than an unstudied but neverthless a direct slight. I was seriously afflicted with a cough for several years, and last fall had a more severe cough than ever before. I have used many remedies without receiving much relief, and being recommended to try a bottle of Chamberlain’s Cough Remedy, by a friend, who, knowing me to be a poor widow, gave it to me, I tried it, and with the most gratifying results. The first bottle relieved me very much and the second bottle has absolutely cured me. I have not had as go<xl ■ health for twenty years. Respectfully Mrs. Mary A. Beard, Claremore, Ark. June 14 will be flag day owing to the fact that the present national flag was adopted by Congress on the 14th of June, 1777. The first official flag of the present design ever used on land or sea was made in June, 1776, from a rough drawing modified by General Washington, who substituted the star of five points instead of six pointed star that had been originally in the draft. Blood-Cleaning. House-cleaning is a duty in every well-regulated houshold. People don't wait until the filth becomespainfully apparent, but it stands to reason that in every day use more or less dust or dirt accumulate. It is so with the human blood. From the enormous variety of eatables taken into the stomach, a quanity of useless material is bound to accumulate in the blood and clog the free and wholesome flow in the vessels. Every person should from time to time have a “blood-cleaning” and the best cleanser and blood purifier is Cascarets Candy Cathartic. We reccommend them to all our readers.
