The Peru oil field holds out better than the wiseacres predicted. The output of that Peru district is now six tanks, or 1,200 barrels per day, making the income of the well owners about S6OO per day. It is believed down there that there will yet be some first-class strikes in that territory. Only a few days since a 200barrel producer was drilled in on the Charters farm and this success is leading to further operations. Mr. Ward L.
