It was clearly manifested on Christmas evening when a peer, forlorn looking tramp I called at several places in our burg and ' asked permission to stay all night, ljut was refused each time. On investigation he was found to be one of our best citizens,, dressed in a tramp's garb and fitted out nicely for the occasion. We will not give your name this time Uncle Sam, but will just say. when you go out on another tramping expedition, you had better hunt a better location. Perhaps they ate on their way to join the Cuban insurgents. But wherever they go we are inclined to think they will tyng for home, and will be glad to return like the Prodigal son as of old.
