Sparks and Leo Zollinger were at Decatur Thursday night to hear the speaking. Wm Laughner was riding the Masonic goat Thursday night at Decatur. The Martial Band of Decatur, composed of Messrs. Mayer, Fleming and jfen, who attended the epeaking at the Fruchte school house, Thursday night, stopped here enroute home and gave us some fine music. R. O. Johnson, of Monroe, was in tOwn Friday on business. J. Van yorbees, of Decatur, was on our streets Monday. Misses Melia and Mary Bly entertained a number of their lady friends of Fnedheim Sunday. Wm. Jaebker met with a very }ain'ul accident while hapling logs at Fnedheim last Saturday. The chain slipped letting the log roll back on him, knocking him down and fracturing one leg. He being alone in the wood, and was held in that position until help arrive from a neighbor’s house about half mile away. ’ . i Mrs. McWhirter, of Uniondale, is the guest of her parents, Mr. arid Mrs. Weldy, south of town.
