absurd to assert that the cause of depression and money crises is due to the policy pursued by our present Administration? It may have precipitated business depression which was posi t.ively to come; but the sooner you put a , stop to malpractice the less fatal it will be in the end. Now if we can get our Congress to look after, and work for the benefit of the people without undue regard for the capital interest or in other words relieve the distress of the people and thereby stimulate and diffuse capital, there may a time come when the millions of toilers can be happy and prosperous once more, and not be driven into strikes and riots, despair and crime. There is enough to dm, for all, but many are forced to unwilling idleness. Under existing conditions, interest, rents and taxes are too high. I believe our bankers could do a more flourishing and satisfactory business at entirely different basis anji rates. Now the individual states have the power and control of regulating interests, rents and taxes, while the general government has the sole power to create and disperse the circulating medium and that on a very unfavorable basis, namely that of rare, precious metals I can not extend thoughts on this last subject, but here is a wide and important field for vast improvement so that those who have the profuse and diversified materials of intrinsic value could share in securing the circulating medium. The subject of an international court of justice for vindicating our national honor, rights and dignity, iu other words, intellectual power, instead of deadly force would save an indescribable amount of expenditure and mitigate suffering of millions of innocent persons, while the guilty, who perpetrate wrong' and cause international disturbance could be better brought to punishment. This is another realm of sublime thought which we are capable of establishing and practicing. This to will vastly diminish the liabilit v of linaticialcrisis. A STRAKE CASE. How an Enemy was Foiled. The following graphic statement will bo_ read with intense interest: “I cannot (leseriiK? the numb, creepy sensation 1 hat existed in my arms, hands and legs. I had to rub and beat those parts until they were sore, to overcome in a measure the dead feeling that had taken possession of them. In addition, I had a strange weakness in my back and around my waist, together with an indescribable ‘gone feeling in my stomach. Physicians was creeping paralysis, from which. a<j£ord ing to their universal conclusion, there js no relief. Once it fastens upon a person, they say. it continues its insidious progress until it reaches a vital point and the sufferer dies. Such was my prospect. I had been doctoring a year and a half steadily, but with no particular benefit, when I saw an advertisement of Dr Miles’ Restorative Nervine, procured a bottle and began using it. Marvelous as it may seem, but a few days had passed before every bit of that creepy feeling had left me, and‘there has not been even the slightest indication of its return. I now feel as well as I ever did. and have gained ten pounds in weight, though 1 had run down from 170 to 137.' Four others have used Dr. Miles’Restorative Nervine on my recomendation. and it has been as sal isfaewi y in t heir cases as in mine.”—James Kane, La hue. O.
