A vicious cow belonging to Silas Kizer disemboweled a valuable three year old mare of his on Sunday. The animal had to be killed. Louis Laudman, of Piqua, and David and Samuel Nusbaum, ot Darke county, Ohio, were attending the funeral of Mr. and Mrs. Wuhleman last week. John Lehman and John Beers have bought out the merchanti!e business of Emanuel Haicker, of Domestic, and will -ake possession early in April. . His first companion havit g died three years and five months ago. -They were half sisters. Mrs. Sarah A. Ramey, of Portland, and Mrs. M. R. Vance favored us with a friendly call on Friday. The former we had not met for one quarter of a century, while in each of us the beaty ot other days has, in a measure, faded away. Our store house of experience is more complete. Sometime since we made mention of a ladies’ winter hat being found near the banks of the stone quarry, the same has not been called lor. To this mystery we now add the finding of a sidesaddle, with girth and fixtures in fair perservation It was found under the ice in the river by some skaters. We suppose the next find will be the carcuss of the horse, as John Ensley utterly declares to dive down to he bottom of his stone'quarry in search ot the suppiSe fair rider. In gleaning the facts pertaining to the death of Clemons Wuhleman and of Elizabeth, his wife, whose death we repor'ed last week, we find that the former-foied at BJ£ o’clock a m. and the later at 1 o’clock p. m. the same day, the difference of time being four and one-half instead of twelve hours as reported last week. We further find that both was borned in February, married in tfofoyuwyJand died on the same day in February and buried jo one grave, :he former at the age of 77 years and five days, the later at 78 years and one day.
