Surveyor J. W. Tyndall, of Decatur was here las' Wednesday sun eying the new addit.on known as Sp<unger’s addition qn the we-tsrdeot town. About lifts lots were laid out and several have already been purchased. Quite a number ot new buildings will be erected in that addition the coming season. Berne was visited by another fire this week. Shortly alter one o’clock Tuesday morning fire was discovered in the BeeHive factoiy owned by D. Z. Sprunger. The fire alarm was given when the majority of the citizens responded and the fire was kept from going larther. The utlding with contents was totally destroyed. Amount loss about S4OO.
