Presbyterians Honor New Members Sunday Following the worship service Sunday morning at the First Presbyterian church, new members will be honored at a coffee hour. Mrs. M." A. Frtsinger, membership committee chairman, has arranged the recognition with her committee, who will serve as hostesses. Members who will be publicly received into the fellowship of the church during the worship service will be guests at the coffee hour in order that members may become better acquainted with them. As this has not been done for several years, members received during 1962, 1963 and 1964 will all be given recognition, and they and their families are asked to stay for the coffee hour.
Truck Damaged In ‘ Wreck Wednesday ; An Allen Dairy milk truck. ' driven by Foss D. Folk, Jr., 44, of Fort Wayne, received an esti- a mated SIOO damage at noon Wednesday. Although there was no collision, a car operated by Phillip T. Mcßride, 22, at Preble, was involved in the mishap that occurred on county road 37, one-quar-ter mile north of Preble. Mcßride was southbound and the milk truck northbound, when both neared a narrow bridge. Both applied the brakes of their vehicles, only Mcßride’s car went into a skid. Folk, in attempting to miss the car, lost control of his vehicle and it dropped off the berm into a ditch and onto its top. Snow and ice made the county road extremely slick, according to sheriff Roger Singleton, who investi- , gated. In addition to the truck, two | rods of fence owned by Adelbert Rekeweg, of Preble, received S2O I damage, and a county highway speed limit sign was torn down. *■ iSh I 1. y ROBERT L.
