Miss Bonnie Kline, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orville Kline, and Ronald Herbert Kleinknight, twin son of Mrs. Chester H. Kleinknight, were united in marriage at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in a double ring ceremony officiated by the Rev. Richard Ludwig at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran church. The candlelight ceremony was performed in the church decorated with a candelabra at the altar and the aisle lined with pal® candles with white bows and huckleberry and vases of yellow and white mums and a white carpeted‘'sfisle. Organist, Donald Bieberich played the traditional religious wedding songs and vocalist AJ Huth, sang “The Lord’s Prayer.” The bride wore a gown of “Anderson creation” of poie de soie. It had a batteau neckline with long tapered sleeves. At midriff were rose appliques which were pearl beaded to set it off. The domed skirt fell to a chapel length train. Her headpiece was a domed pill box with silk illusion. The hat was flowered with lace and pearl beaded designs. She carried a whi.e orchid on a White wedding Bible. * Mrs. Richard Bailey, aunt of the bride, was matron of honor. She chcse a floor length bellshaped gown of moss green. The skirt was faille and the bodice was velvet set off by a tailored bow at the waistline. Her headdres was a tailored bow with silk illusion. She carried a bouquet of white and yellow muirs. Bridesmaids were Miss Mary Kline and Miss Jeanne Kline, sisters of the bride. They wore ensembles identical to the honor attendant. Rudolph Kleinknight was his twin’s best man. Thomas Kanning

For her wedding trip to New York City, the new Mrs. Kleinknight chose a blue mohair suit with three-quarter length sleeves edged with blue satin. She wore black accessories and an orchid corsage. The bride is a graduate of Monroeville high school and is a correspondence clerk at Lincoln Life Insurance Co. The groom, a graduate of Decatur high school, is a machinist at General Electric in Decatur. Following the honeymoon, the couple will reside at 1036 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne. No U. S. As monitored in Tokyo, what the Communist radio said was: “A pilotless high altitude reconnaissance military plane of U.S. imperialism, intruding into China’s territorial air space over the area of central south China on Nov. 15, was shot down by the air force of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army.”

Society The Adams Central PTA held their annual open house Monday evening after a short business meeting. All the classrooms were open with exhibits of the students* work. A band workshop was held in the school gym. The Builders class of Trinity EUB will meet Friday at, the church. There will be a family Thanksgiving supper. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish and their table service. Serving will start at 6:15 p.m. The Ave Maria study club will meet Wednesday after church at the home of Mrs. Arthur Voglewede. All members are urged to attend. Th^ annual Thanksgiving supper will be held at the Pleasant Mills Methodist church Saturday. Serving time will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Locals Mrs. Lyman L. Hann, of Ekhart, wife of the former Adams county school superintendent, has been admitted to the Methodist hospital in Indianapolis for observation, following several months of heart trouble. A former resident here, she is the mother of Lyman H. Hann, of 517 W. Monroe street, who accompanied her to Indianapolis Sunday. Lawrence Noll, highway superintendent, is recovering satisfactorily from surgery last week at the Wells county hospital in Bluffton. His room number is 308 for those who wish to send letters or cards. Zeke Evans, local businessman and timber buyer, is reported slowly improving from a heart attack following a fall from a ladder. He has been a patient at the Adams county memorial hospital for some time. Cards may be sent to room 347. County Awards Bid For Sheriffs Car The Adams county commissioners Monday accepted bids for .purchase of a new sheriff’s department car. Succesful bidder was Bill Zoss Chevrolet of Decatur. The bid figures include accepting the sheriff’s trade-in, a 1961 Plymouth. The Zoss bid was $15,43.18. The only other bidder, Riesen and Schug Motors of Berne, submitted a figure of $1,895. After purchasing the car the commissioners decided to have power brakes and steering installed. The addition was made, at the request of the sheriff’s department, for “greater safety.”

RECEPTION HELD FOR MR. AND MRS. HODGE A belated wedding reception was held held Saturday evening at the residence of Paul Reidenbach for Paul and Lois Brodbeck Hodge, who were married June 22. Hie bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Brodbeck of Decatur, and the groom is the son of Mrs. Roscoe Putteet, also of Decatur. Townsend, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Estle Townsend of Decatur route 2, has been initiated into Sigma Mu Sigma, Masonic - affiliated fraternity founded in 1921 on the campus at. Tri State College, Angola. Townsend Is enrolled in the institute of drafting and design, in the one-year certificate program, which is an industry-approved course preparing young men for careers in drafting. The groom is a graduate of Decatur high school and is attending barber college in Chicago. The bride attended Decatur Catholic high school. After a short honeymoon of unannounced destination, the couple will reside at 2043 West 18th street in Chicago. LADIES AID OF ST.s, PAUL MAKES LELA BAGS The Ladies Aid of the St. Paul Missionary church met November 12 at the home of Mrs. Charles Shoaf. The evening was spent in sewing and making Leia bags for the county mental health project. Seventy-seven bags have been completed and turned in by these ladies to Mrs. Carl Gerber, the chairman for this project tn Decatur. ’ ' For the Christmas meeting, it is requested that each member bring any kind of paper product to be put on the pantry shelf of the Fort Wayne Bible College for the needy students.
