Youth For Christ To Meet Here Saturday Adams county area Youth for Christ will launch a week of outstanding activities Saturday evening, with a rally at 7:30 o’clock at the Decatur Youth and Community Center. Teens from clubs of this area will see the premiere showing Saturday of a new film, entitled "God’s Country.” The film, featuring Tbny and Kerry Fontane, is a feature-leng-the motion picture epic filmed in color, and in a message of faith, and freedom, ft presents the living reality that the answer

to life and the hereafter is found only in the person <4 Jesus Christ. "God's Country" follows closely in the tradition of the 'Tony Fontane Story,” Gospel Films’ first full-length, dramatic musical. Like the first, this film also combines the beautiful tenor voice of Tony Fontane with a combination of drama, humor and pathos. The film allowes the view to enjoy the American day parade, the county fair and the interesting, yet humorous, home life of immigrants Grandpa Fontane and Uncle Louis as they become United State citizens. It also shows Washington, D. C., Niagara Falls, the Grand Canyon, the liberty Bell and other historical areas of America.

One Driver Charged Following Accident A resident of route 1, Hoagland, 16-year-old Sonia L. Schroeder, was arrested and cited to Justice of the peace court following a two-car accident at the intersection of Jefferson and Fourth streets at 3:56 pm. Wednesday. She was traveling north on Fourth street and pulled into the intersection, striking the right side of an auto traveling east' on Jefferson street and operated by Glen Mcßride, 43, of Strickler’s trailer court. The young girl told officers she had heard a siren (the fire whistle was blowing at the time) and had thought the siren was approaching from the rear, so she pulled into the intersection. Ticketed for failure to yield the right of way, she is to appear in J. P. court today. Damages were estimated by city police at S9OO to Mcßride's

Wrong Roop Listed In Democrat Story The 17-year-old referred to juvenile authorities this week for driving while under the influence was Jim Roop, of Patteroon at 13th street, and not David Roop, a brother, as was erronously stated in a recent Daily Democrat article. 1963 model car, and S4OO to the 1964 model Schroeder vehicle. Ronald Habegger Is Member Os Chorus Ronald Habegger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Habegger, route 3, Decatur, and a 1964 graduate of Monmouth high school, is one of thiee freshman boys accepted as a member of the Orpheus chorus at Olivet Nazarene College, Kankakee, 111. The sixty-voice choir, directed by Mrs. Naomi Larsen, will be making its second public appearance Friday evening at the annual homecoming concert in Chalfant hall on the Olivet Nazarene campus.
