The following words spoken by Dag Hammarskjold at the dedication of the Prayer Room at UN headquarters answers this question: Prayer is a dynamic manifestation of love by- the concerned reaching out for God’s* help for man. Man has reached a critical point in history where he must turn to God to avoid the consequences of his own faulty thinking. We must condition the world's leaders by asking God's spirit to descend upon their hearts and minds. We must pray in church, at home, on the train, while driving, on the job —and keep at it. Each of us is important now. The ability of •very individual to seek divine help is a necessary link in the golden chain of peace and harmony. You can help change the world by your prayers and your prayerful action.*’

Assembly of God Church 1210 Elm St. M. H. Noita, Pastor Sunday school 9:30 a.m. Lesson text-The Sanctity of Marriage. Golden text — “Be ye kindly affectioned one to another in honour preferring one another.” Rom. 12:10. “And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the Mother of Jesus was there; and both Jesus was called and his disciples to the marriage.”— Morning Worship 10:30 a.m. Neverthe less let everyone of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.— C. A. Evening Service 7:00 p.m. We were thrilled by the exciting films shown of the Peruvian Country,’with all their vast mountain ranges, with people living at altitudes of 10,000 feet, the quaint dress and peculiar garb worn by this people, their crude/ strenous lives; but best of all their finding Christ sis their personal Saviour under the tutelage and capable hands of our beloved Missionary to them, Jack Garlit. Our ladies of W. M. C. — remember that instead of the regular Meeting on November sth., there will be a get-to-gether to prepare for the "Rummage Sale" which will be the following Saturday, November 7th. For further information, see Joan Meyer, Kathleen Deaton or one of our W. M. C. ladies. We request all Special Singers to be prepared when called upon to bring forth a message in Song. Thanks. We are glad to report that Robbie Durbin has returned home from the Bluffton Clinic, but must receive care for a period of time. Due to this fact, his Mother, Becky Durbin will remain home from her work to give him proper care. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Deaton, will be. absent from the activities this week-end, as they are visiting their son, David and wife at Springfield, Missouri. A HAPPY HOME This is an age for conformity among youth — what the crowd does is of major injpbrtance — more so seemingly than anything parents advise regarding their children’s activities. Conformity in relatively unimportant things, clothes, eating habits, youthful 1 ingo, are _ harmless, but, when following the crowd leads youth into harmful, unethical and immoral activities, then conformity is a great danger. Some youth are like clams. While the clam is secure in his shell, he becomes a victim of his environment, at the mercy of current and tide. He opens his door and the food flows in. Thus some young people find security and acceptance in the protective shell of the group. They are swept helplessly back and forth by the current of scial pressure. Ther minds are open to receive indiscriminately whatever moral diet is being served. On the other hand the eagle lives on the rocky crags, exposed tff dangers, but free to fly where he chooses, which he does warily, knowing the dangers. The Christian you has the opportunity and ability to be selective and build his life above the moral norms of the day. Having seen an eagle', who would want to be a clam? DO YOU KNOW ANSWERED 1. Enoch and Elijah. 2. 7^'million dollars. 3. John. 4. Elijah. 5. Joshua.
