Miss Sharon Diane Gallmeyer exchanged marriage vows with Lloyd William Breneke Friday evening in the Zion Lutheran church in Friedheim. Bows and candles marked the pews for the candlelight service. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Gallmeyer, route 1, Ossian, and the bridegroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Brenneke, route 1, Woodburn. The bride selected a gown of white rochelle lace over taffeta in chapel length. The molded bodice-* of rochelle lace over taffeta was detailed with a scallopneckline toucb&L. wjth irrideseent sequins and seed pearls while long lace sleeves tapered to points over her hands. The very full skirt of rochelle lace and nylon tulle was floor length. Irridescent sequins were sprinkled* over the ruffles as two small lace roses enhanced the front of the skirt. Back fullness swept into a chapel length train. Her very full bouffant veil of imported silk illusion was caught to a woven crown of seed pearls and

The fitted taffeta bodice ; was detailed with a scooped neck- ; line and above the elbow sleeves. The empire line was highlighted , with a small taffeta rose while > taffeta created a criss-cross es- , feet. The princess style skirt was floor length while the detachable panel of taffeta fell down from the 1 line of empire and swept the full [ length of the gown. She wore a hot pink head-piece shaped like mums with velveteen leaves and t bouffant veil. She carried a xas- [ cade of pale pink flowers. Attired identically wer6 the bridesmaids, Irene Brenneke, sister of the groom, and Diane Erxleben and Marilyn Evans, friends of the bride. Miss Julia Ann Lehrman, a cousin of the bride, was the flower girl. She was dressed similar to the bridesmaids and carried a basket of pale pink flowers. Roger Brenneke, brother of the groom, served as best man. Guests were seated by DeWayne and Dale Gallmeyer, brothers of the bride, Jerry Bulmahn, cousin of the groom, Jim Fuhrman and Roger Schueler. Mrs. Gallmeyer wore a sheath dress of dark blue lace with watching accessories. Mrs. Brenneke wore light blue with matching accessories. Both mothers wore red roses. The reception, followed at the Hoagland Hayloft. The new Mr. and Mrs. Brenneke will make their home at route 1, Hicksville, O. Locals Mrs. Charles Starost of Fort Wayne, Mrs. Nimrod McCullough, Mrs. Noble Drum and Mrs. Bernard Lose, all of Decatur and all sisters, recently returned from a ten day tour of Washington D. C. Many points of interest were visited by the group during their stay there.

Mr. Noll has been in failing health for the past four years and is now in the Adams county memorial hospital. Mrs. Noll’s healtjj is fair. The couple are the parents of six children and have reared two grandsons, Tom and Bob Noll of route 6. The children are two sons, Carl of Decatur and Dick of Geneva; and four daughters, Mrs. Dan (Mary) Neireiter, route 6, Miss Eloise Noll of Decatur, Mrs. James M. County Scottish Rite Will Meet Wednesday Members of the Adams county Scottish Rite association will meet Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Palmer House in Berne for a family style dinner. All members should bring Blue Lodge member guests to prepare for the fall class. Ralph Habegger, president, will preside at the meeting, and the Scottish Rite bodies of Fort Wayne wjll be in charge of the program. Trespass Charge Is Filed On Young Girl Darlene Fellers, 18-year-old Monroe resident, was taken into custody by sheriff’s officers Friday evening on a warrant charging her with malicious trespassing. The incident involves the throwing of a stone through a window at the home of a Monroe resident: The girl is being held at the jail under $250 bond. Reports Battery Is Stolen From Tractor Carl Nussbaum, of route 1, Berne, has reported to the sheriff’s department the recent theft of a battery from his tractor, which occurred late Wednesday afternoon. ' * Myron Frank, route 5, Decatur, also repo-ted to the sheriff’s department, the theft of about 250 feet of electrical wiring from a farm owned by him. The theft occurred several months ago but was discovered only recently.

Miss Ann Elizabeth Omlor and James Lee Bailer were united in marriage at the St. Mary's Catholic church at 10 a.m. today. The Rt. Rev. Msgr, Simeon Schmitt officiated the single ring ceremony at the church with a white carpeted aisle, bronze-gold pew bows wedding standards filled with large bronze and white mums and deep red oak foliage. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. les Omlor, 648 Mercer Ave., and Mr. and Mrs. William Haley, 244 N. Seventh street. Organist for the occasion was Mrs. John Girard, who played the traditional music. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of white peau taffeta and imported alencon lace. The molded taffeta bodice feautred a scoop neckline outlined with alencon lace, seed pearls and irridescent sequins; Three quarter length taffeta sleeves covered her arms. Unpressed pleats created a shaped sheath skirt on the floor length gown. The imported alencon lace also appeared on the chapel length train which swept from her waistline. Her full bouffant veil of imported silk illusion in a ballerina length was caught to a double crown of alencon lace flowerettes with pearl and crystal drop trim. Her matron of honor, Mrs. James Baker, chose a floor length gown of crystal back satin in willow green. A small tailored bow was centered at the waist in the front. A detachable flowing panel, caught with two small bows, fell from her shoulders. She wore a matching crystal H back satin headpiece of flowered clusters of petals outlined in pearls with a tiny rosebud in the center and bouffant veil. Her bridesmaid was Mrs. Robert Walters, Jr. She wore a dress identical to the matron of honor. Bailer chose Larry Baumgamer for his bestman. Richard Omlor, brother of the bride, and Mory Alexander seated the guests. For her daughter's wedding, the bride’s mother chose a dark blue two piece knit suit with a white jacket trimmed in blue. She wore a white hat with light blue shoes. Her flowers were white cynbidium orchids. Mrs. Haley chose a dark brown faille two piece dress with a green feathered hat and brown accessories. Her corsage was white cynbidium orchids. A wedding breakfast was held this morning at the Fairway Restaurant for 35 guests. The reception will be from 2-5 p.m., at the American Legion hall for 350 guests. The table will be skirted in gold satin with an overcast of with a four tiered cake. Serving netting and will hold white candles at the reception will be Miss Marcia Jessup, Miss Pamela Lister, and the Mesdames Patty Schultz and Judy Imel. Registering the gifts will be Miss Ruth Ann Brown and Mrs. Joan Gross. Guests will be registered by Mrs. Susie Cowens. For her wedding trip to the southern states, the bride will wear a black and white wool two piece suit, with matching black accessories. She will wear the orchid from the bridal bouquet. The bride is a graduate of Decatur Catholic high school and is employed by the Happy Humpty Drive-In. The groom is a graduate of Decatur high school and is employed by the city water department. The couple will be at home at 233 N. fourth street after October 22.

“RECORDS” IS THEME FOR PARTY Tbe Epsilon chapter of Beta Sigma Phi held its annual "rushes” party at the C. L. C. hall, Wednesday. The theme this year was for every member and "tush- j ee” to come as some song title. The guests were ushered to the dining room where the tables were decorated in keeping with the Haloween .season, A delicious three course dinner was served at 6:30 p. m. Mrs. Walchle, past junior president of the auxiliary, gave a few remarks thanking the many members of the legion and auxiliary for their cooperation with the activities of the unit? i. Ed Kirschner, past commander of the legion, spoke briefly thanking the unit members for their loyal support and expressed best wishes for continued success and happiness in the work of the legion. Fort Wayne Masons To Attend Meeting An unusual special train-car group will leave Decatur Oct. 30, M. W. Bumgerdner, station agent, said today. The Sumit City Masonic lodge of Fort Wayne has hired a special car to take 40 of its members to a meeting at Corning, N.Y. They will leave Friday, and return the following Sunday afternoon, after a special Saturday afternoon program in Corning. Master Don Johnson is in charge of the group. 25-Year Pins To Decatur Masons Six members of the Decatur Masonic Lodge were honored Tuesday night with 25-year pins, it was announced this morning. A father-son, and father-son-in-law banquet followed the presentation. M. W. Bumgerdner, secretary of the lodge, and past master, made the awards, ‘and reviewed Masonic teachings. Those receiving their awards in person were Hubert Zerkel, Sr., Steve Everhart, Harold Mumma, and Francis Ellsworth. Wayne Zerkel, and Col. Samuel H. Raymond, of Albuqurque, N.
