NATIONAL PREMIERE OF HAIR FASHIONS “If one hasn’t taken advantage of ‘leap year’ thus far, there is a wonderful feminine collection of ‘flir ation’ coiffures to help this autumn and winter,” reports Mrs. Ronald Kessler, president of the Decatur affiliate of .the Indiana hair dressers and cosmetologists association, who met with several ..thousand cosmetologists from all parts of the nation in Cleveland at the 44th annual convention of the national hairdressers ad casmetologists association. The new styles are being introduced by the official hair fashion committee of the association, the hair fashion authority of the beauty profession. “To help a favorite beau get the message, the new styles also have a “flirt curl’ with a come-hither curve that even the most reluctant can’t resist. Just save one perfumed lock of hair when getting a new ‘flirt cut,’ and wear at the nape, or wherever the imagination suggests. Then, give it to the favorite beau to wear in his lapel. He’s pinned! and have a feeling of roundness. They are soft and free, and must have a light and gentle feeling. “The width of coiffures is greatest just above the eyes. Hair at the sides is closely fitted over or behind the ears, as well as at the nape, emphasizing small head elegance. Exact hair length depends upon individual needs, but the important need is the new ‘flirt cut,’ which establishes the proper shaping. Also vital for the custom fit is professional permanent waving, which adds soft richness and easy care. “Hair coloring spotlights tone on tone effects of the same color family to add a radiant touch. High fashion colors will be warm blondes, beige blondes and tea tones in blonde.”" The Women of the Moose win hold a white elephant sale following their regular meeting Thursday evening at the Moose home. •Members are urged to attend and bring an item of $1 value.
